Eleanor Myers is a freelance journalist based in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Her work has been featured in The Times, The Telegraph, The Independent, openDemocracy and The New European.
​
She won the Rupert Cornwell Prize in 2022, which is a prize for foreign correspondents under 30. The winner receives a grant to cover a series of pieces published in The Independent. Her reporting focused on Albania’s relationship with its communist past.
​
She also won the Cassandra Jardine Prize in 2022, run by The Telegraph, for the best article by a young female journalist.
​
Before becoming a journalist she worked in political and economic research at Ipsos, doing quantitative and qualitative research for the British Government, the UN and the EBRD, among others.
